Zechariah 2:10-11
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell
in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. And many nations shall be joined
to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in
the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent
me unto thee.
Zechariah 3:8-9 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy
fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for,
behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. For behold the stone
that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:
behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
Zechariah 6:12-15
And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying,
Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of
his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall
build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall
sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne:
and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. And the crowns
shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son
of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD. And they that
are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye
shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall
come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God. |
Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the
suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace
of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 8:1
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an
high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty
in the heavens; |
Zechariah 9:9
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:
behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. |
Luke 19:35-38
And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the
colt, and they set Jesus thereon. And as he went, they spread their
clothes in the way. And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent
of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to
rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that
they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of
the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. |
Zechariah 13:7-9
Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my
fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep
shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. And
it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts
therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them
as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall
call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and
they shall say, The LORD is my God. |
Matthew 26:31
Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this
night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of
the flock shall be scattered abroad. |
Zechariah 14:8
And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from
Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward
the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. |
John 7:37-38
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried,
saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that
believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall
flow rivers of living water. |
Hosea 1:10
Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the
sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass,
that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people,
there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God. |
Romans 9:22-26
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known,
endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to
destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on
the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us,
whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As
he saith also in Osee [Hosea], I will call them my people, which were
not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall
come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not
my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. |
Amos 9:11
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and
close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I
will build it as in the days of old: |
Acts 15:14-18
Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to
take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of
the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will
build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will
build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue
of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my
name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Known unto
God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
John 2:19
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three
days I will raise it up. |
Joel 2:28-32
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit
upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your
old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also
upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out
my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth,
blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into
darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of
the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on
the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in
Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the
remnant whom the LORD shall call. |
Acts 2:1-3
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one
accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of
a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were
sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire,
and it sat upon each of them.
Acts 2:16-21
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall
come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit
upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and
your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days
of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in
heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and
vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon
into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: And it
shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord
shall be saved. |
Jeremiah 31:31-37
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to
the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them
by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant
they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But
this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward
parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they
shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his
neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they
shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,
saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember
their sin no more. Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a
light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a
light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The
LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me,
saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a
nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be
measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will
also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith
the LORD. |
Hebrews 10:16-17
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith
the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will
I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Luke 22:20
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood, which is shed for you. [NIV: "In the same way,
after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant
in my blood, which is poured out for you."] |
