Novena to the Holy Ghost
in Anticipation of the Pentecost

The Novena to the Holy Ghost is often prayed starting today and lasting until Pentecost (Whitsunday), in imitation of the novena prayed by Mary and the Apostles during this same time period in Acts 1. If this novena is prayed publicly, a partial indulgence may be received under the usual conditions.
