Giorno Primo
O piissima Vergine S. Gemma, che nel breve spazio di vostra vita, avete
dato il più stupendo spettacolo di una innocenza angelica e di un amore
da Serafino: e che nell'amore di Gesù Crocefisso avete meritato di
portare impressi nella vostra carne i dolori della Passione, abbiate
pietà di chi in questo momento, in virtù dei vostri meriti, e mercé la
vostra intercessione, implora del Cielo una grazia di cui abbisogna.

Giorno Secondo
O degna Sposa dell'Agnello di Dio, che solo si pasce tra i gigli, Voi
che conservaste sempre illibato il candore della vostra verginità,
edificando il mondo con la pratica costante delle più belle virtù,
degnatevi dal Cielo, ove ora godete il premio della vostra santissima
vita, rivolgere uno sguardo pietoso verso di chi in Voi confida, ed
otteneteci la grazia che devotamente a mezzo vostro imploriamo.

Giorno Terzo
O ammirabile Vergine Santa Gemma, che nella vostra carriera mortale,
foste veramente, per l'esercizio delle più belle virtù, gemma
preziosissima agli occhi di Dio, degnatevi dal Cielo rivolgere l'occhio
benigno sopra di noi che a Voi ricorriamo per una grazia mediante la
vostra valida intercessione.

Triduum in Honor of St. Gemma
First Day
O most compassionate Virgin St. Gemma, who in the short span of your
life gave the most wonderful display of angelic innocence and seraphic
love; and who, in your love for Jesus Crucified, merited to bear
imprinted in your flesh the sorrows of the Passion: have pity on the
one who, at this moment, by virtue of your merits and through your
intercession, implores from Heaven a grace of which he stands in need.

Second Day
O worthy Spouse of the Lamb of God, who feeds only among the lilies,
You who always preserved the spotless whiteness of your virginity
intact, edifying the world by the constant practice of the most
beautiful virtues: deign from Heaven, where you now enjoy the reward of
your most holy life, to turn a merciful glance toward the one who
trusts in you, and obtain for us the grace that we devoutly implore
through your intercession.

O admirable Virgin Saint Gemma, who in your mortal journey were truly,
through the practice of the most beautiful virtues, a most precious gem
in the eyes of God: deign from Heaven to turn your benign eye upon us
